DePaul Offers Red-Hot 2017 Boys Town (NE) Standout Teddy Allen

DePaul has now offered red-hot class of 2017 Boys Town (NE) standout Teddy Allen.

Allen, a beefy and skilled 6'5 forward, has seen his recruiting stock explode during the final live session of July in Las Vegas. George Mason, Iowa State and Virginia Tech also stepped up with Sunday offers for Allen. Allen's efforts have included a 38-point outburst against Baltimore United.

Nebraska-Omaha, South Dakota State and Middle Tennessee State offered earlier in the month.

Allen competes on the travel team circuit with the Omaha Sports Academy Crusaders.

Carson Newsome Commits To Play For LaVall Jordan and Wisconsin-Milwaukee

Class of 2017 Waukegan standout Carson Newsome has committed to play his college basketball for head coach LaVall Jordan, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Newsome, a 6’5 wing, was one of the top performers for the Illinois Wolves this spring and summer on the Under Armour Circuit. Newsome is a two-way player, who will bring size and a motor to the wing in the Horizon League.

Newsome joins Wolves teammate T.J. Clifford (Western Michigan) in announcing their collegiate intentions during the month of July.

St. Louis, Duquesne and UIC had previously offered Newsome.

Cam Krutwig Adds An A-10 Offer From Duquesne, Offer #20

Class of 2017 Jacobs High School standout Cameron Krutwig has now added an Atlantic 10 offer from Duquesne to his collection. The offer is the 20th school to extend a scholarship offer.

Krutwig is a beefy and highly skilled 6’9 post who has consistently ranked among the top 2017 post prospects in Illinois throughout his high school career.

East Carolina, Kent State, Wofford and Bowling Green are all among the recent offers for Krutwig, who also has been offered by Loyola, UIC, SIU, NIU, Toledo, Brown, Columbia, Furman, Ball State and Belmont to name a few.

Krutwig competed on the Under Armour circuit with Young Legends-Weinstein.
