Purdue Set To Host Nojel Eastern On Official Visit

Class of 2017 Evanston Township High School standout Nojel Eastern is set for an official visit to the campus of Purdue University this weekend.

Purdue will also host 2017 post targets Xavier Tillman and Terrell Brown as well this weekend.

Eastern, a 6’6 guard, has long been a recruiting priority for Purdue. Eastern brings size, versatility, playmaking skills and a willingness to share the ball to the table.

Eastern averaged 9.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game this spring and summer with Meanstreets in Nike EYBL games.

Purdue currently has four open scholarships for the 2017 recruiting class. That number could grow even higher if Caleb Swanigan or Isaac Haas make early NBA moves.

Eastern currently ranks among the top 5 prospects in the Illinois class of 2017. Eastern holds a wealth of high-major scholarship offers including Michigan State, which will get an official visit next month.
